Here's a very useful firefox addon for you guys, it's called searchstatus. What does it do? Let me quote their original description.
Display the Google PageRank, Alexa rank, Compete ranking and SEOmoz Linkscape mozRank anywhere in your browser, along with fast keyword density analyser, keyword/nofollow highlighting, backward/related links, Alexa info and more.
And here's what it looks like when installed on your firefox browser. It is the page rank and alexa rank of google.com
You can also enable/disable what ranks to display by right clicking on the q icon.
And change the position on where the addon will appear
