You might be using sitemeter on your blog to track the number of visits, pageviews and where your visitors came from. But as the blog owner, you always visit your blog and sitemeter then include your visits counts. You will then have a false traffic count.

To fix this problem, you need to change a setting on your sitemeter account so that it will not track your visits. To do that,

1. Login to your sitemeter account

2. Go to manager and click on ignore visits category.

3. Click on "IGNORE visits to my site from this browser"

If you change your browser or cleared the cookies, you need to repeat the steps again.
